OK, should I laugh at the new cloud computing certifications coming out or should I be signing up for the classes and buying the study guides?I see that Ivanka Menken, author of a dozen or so ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) study guides has a new book out called, Cloud Computing Certification Kit. I read the Amazon notes on the book, and I still can't figure out what certification this book helps you study for.

I see that CA/3Tera have a new certification called, Certified Cloud Operator, and Certified Cloud Architect. (There's a loft title) - but these are only for the Applogic product, and also I see that a group called the Cloud Security Alliance has a CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge).

How will these certs measure up to the current standards like MCSE, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, ITILv3, etc?
At the moment, I'm inclined to be a little skeptical, but I'm interested in how it plays out.
